Write & Shine Workshop: Blue & Green – Public
A limited amount of free tickets are available for RSL Members. Log in to book or join here.
Following the sell-out success of the 2020 Dalloway Day Write & Shine workshop, we have made more spaces available in 2021 for RSL members.
Led by writer Gemma Seltzer, this specially commissioned Write & Shine workshop will focus on the short story, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Virginia Woolf's short story collection, Monday or Tuesday.
For ‘Blue & Green,’ we’ll take inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s story of the same name, celebrating these two colours through surreal images and their associations. In this workshop, Gemma Seltzer will guide you through writing prompts to explore the role of colour in our creative work, its relationship to place, and how to write with inspiration from the past.
Write & Shine morning writing workshops are open to everyone, whether you’re new to writing, have some experience, or simply want more creativity into your working day. Research shows that we’re more creative in the mornings, sensitive to the sights and sounds of our environment as we begin our days. Join us to discover why this is the best time to think, dream and imagine.
Gemma Seltzer, a short story writer and experienced literary facilitator, founded Write & Shine in 2015. Alongside the workshop, Write & Shine will also add a Dalloway Day-inspired session to its online library of self-guided courses.
On the morning of the workshop, we encourage you to grab your favourite drink, a pen and notebook, then join the Write & Shine Zoom meeting anytime from 7.15am, for a 7.30am start.
