Join the RSL as a Literature Matters Supporters’ Circle Member

The RSL offers the benefits and joys of a literary festival and book club, rolled into one, all year round: a membership for all seasons. 

As a Member of the Literature Matters Supporters' Circle, you will be able to:

  • Take advantage of priority booking of guaranteed free tickets for you and a guest to all of our public events (currently all online)
  • Attend exclusive events including awards ceremonies 
  • Receive the annual RSL Review magazine and quarterly Our Mutual Friend newspaper
  • Attend the RSL summer party and presentation of new Fellows ceremony
  • Take part in RSL Members' Book Groups
  • Support our charitable aims as the national voice for the value of literature.

If you would like to set up a recurring payment to be taken annually by card, tick 'Please renew my membership automatically' below and then choose 'Stripe' at the bottom of the page. 

You can also choose to set up a Direct Debit, which will take the money directly from your bank account each year, please select this option at the bottom of the page.

In both cases, payment will then be taken each year and your membership automatically renewed.

The RSL is a charity, and with Gift Aid you can support us even further. If you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you give, we can claim 25p in addition from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you. All we need is your consent, which you can give by selecting ‘Yes’ below.

About Gift Aid

Literature Matters Supports receive a range of benefits, and so part of your gift is not eligible for Gift Aid. This amount is £50 and the remainder is a voluntary donation to which Gift Aid and tax relief can be applied.
