Geraldine is CEO of Compton Verney, Britain’s leading art space in a park. Prior to this she spent twelve years as a Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company, changing the RSC’s relationship with artists, audiences and the community. She is particularly proud of leading the £4.5m Swan Wing capital project and a series of events to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. For over 10 years she led Apples and Snakes performance poetry, establishing a national network for spoken word and commissioning new work from writers including Lemn Sissay, Roger Robinson and Malika Booker. She started her career at Battersea Arts Centre progressing from Assistant to the Director to Programme Manager.
