Unsafe, Unseen and Unsung

Tewary

A deep breath, the beating heart
Stifling the fear deep inside
Ignoring the apprehensive eyes of the family
They walked to the hospital to serve
Unsafe

In these trying times, the need to do something
The opening of the kitchens
The giving of the kind
They helped to feed hundreds and thousands
Unseen

A helping hand, a calming voice
Whatever could be accomplished
To make life easier for those within their houses
They fell headlong to aid
Unsung
