The Poem

I shall wear some different socks today,

Not just different from yesterday, but different from each other, I meant to say,

One shall be very bright and new and bold,

The other, dark and grim and old,

And then I guess my shoes would look strange,

If they were going to be both the same,

So one shall be blue and the other red,

And then I think I’ll go to bed
