RSL Christopher Bland Prize 2021 Submission Form


  • The RSL Christopher Bland Prize is an annual award of £10,000 to a debut novelist or non-fiction writer first published at the age of 50 or over.

    This year, we are only accepting submissions via the form below, where you can also upload digital copies of the book. Before filling out the form, please ensure that you have read and understood the eligibility and guidelines. As publishers can enter up to two titles, please complete a separate form for each one. Please also complete the equal opportunities form provided in your confirmation email - this is anonymous and will not be linked to your submission in any way.

    The closing date for submissions is Wednesday 16 December 2020 at 5pm.
