Join Royal Society of Literature Fellows Jay Bernard, Sophie Collins and Sabrina Mahfouz for reflections on the writer’s responsibilities in uncertain political times. In a discussion chaired by Edna Longley, they'll also be considering the impact of a shared literary past on writing now, and their own careers.

Elected by their writer peers, each new RSL Fellow signs the Society’s historic Roll Book, bearing signatures from 1825 to 2019. In this first event of On the Same Page, a series taking place at literature festivals across the UK in 2020, the RSL celebrates its 200th birthday year by inviting writers who signed the same page of the book to reflect on their own experiences and explore literature in Britain today.
