London’s original literary juke joint rocks up at Mason & Fifth for its 20th anniversary bash, in the company of the Royal Society of Literature, for a night of words and music circling memory and truth, connections and chasms.
Guests include author and poet Joe Dunthorne, introducing his extraordinary new book Children of Radium; Marina Kemp, author of the Encore Prize-shortlisted The Unwilding; Mona Arshi, Forward prize winning poet, human rights lawyer and author of the novel Somebody Loves You; Jamie Collinson, novelist and music exec, whose sharp-eyed work peels back the layers of art and ambition and Zimbabwean-born poet and sound -artist, Belinda Zhawi. Music comes from the extraordinary Berwyn, fresh from the success of his debut studio album, Who Am I?. Hosted by writer and performer Rachel Mars.
